MEET OUR EXPERTS

Chorley Branch of the Lancashire Family History and Heraldry Society is holding the first of a series of Family History events for 2008 at Chorley Parish Church of St.Laurence, Union Street, Chorley on Saturday 21^st June from 10.30 a.m.– 4.30 p.m.

The event is entitled “MEET OUR EXPERTS” and admission is free of charge.

Ron Chapman, the event co-ordinator says:

“Family History is one of the fastest growing hobbies. Within the Chorley Branch of the Lancashire Family History and Heraldry Society, we have a wealth of knowledge that we would like to share with people who are new to Family History, as well as with those who have more experience of research. MEET OUR EXPERTS will provide an opportunity to ask questions and to seek advice on a wide range of Family History topics.”

Information desks giving help with Beginning Family History, Census Data, Civil Registration, the Internet, Manorial Records, Wills, Roman Catholic Records, Heraldry, Occupations, Military Research – and much more, will be available.

Every Family Historian has a question – “How do I do it?” or “How do I find it?” or “What does it mean?” MEET THE EXPERTS will provide opportunities for these questions to be asked and answered.
